INTERACT CLUB

LEAD. SERVE. CONNECT.
The Howell Interact Club is a community based club. We provide several service opportunities through out the school year. We would like to see students make changes in our school and community. There are different activities provided at each meeting including service opportunities, food, games, guest speakers and much more fun. Come join us and meet new friends on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month at the Highlander restaurant at the 10-12 building.

Next Meeting: May 2, 2018
--> There will be free food and service opportunities

Kick Polio Out of Town Walk/Run

Howell Interact is working with other interact and rotary clubs to host a “Kick Polio Out of Town” Event to help raise awareness and fund to eradicate polio in Afghanistan. We are following a “5k type format”. The entire event will be 5 miles long (this will be split up among teams). Each mile counts as 1,000 Miles and by the end we will have walked 5,000 Miles which is the distance from Michigan to Afghanistan. Along the way there will be information, games, and multiple awesome activities, with an outdoor movie on our football field to conclude! Stay tune for a registration!
Date: Saturday May 19th, 2018
Time: In the Evening (the exact start time: TBD)
Location: Howell High School

Ribbon Warriors

Ribbon Warriors is our biggest fundraiser for families of staff and students in Howell Public School who have cancer or are surviving the effects of cancer. This year, we participated in the homecoming prep assembly instead of the winter one. The grand total from the high school is $6000. We are also expanding the fundraiser to Highlanderway Middle School and Parker Middle School.

If you or anyone you know impacted by cancer and have financial need, we are here to help! The beneficiary application is in the Howell High School main office or click the button down below.
